Tom Feeney For Congress

Ellen's Corner

This is such an exciting year for my family and me. My husband Tom is running for Congress and there are so many things I want to share with you about him.

It's not easy finding the time to do this. Between raising two kids, working full time at Kennedy Space Center , running a household and helping Tom with his campaign, I haven't had much free time lately. But I really wanted you to "get to know" the Tom Feeney I know so well.

Tom has a proven record of working tirelessly for the people of Florida . Tom's priorities have always been about improving the quality of life for his constituents, protecting our children and improving education.

Tom is not happy about what has been happening in Washington , D.C. He has fought to make sure that our families are safe by securing our borders and he has been a tireless advocate of spending control, assuring our children inherit a country that is not mired in debt. One of the first pieces of legislation that Tom passed in Congress was the "Protect Act" that ensured that child predators received tough sentences from judges so they are less likely to end up back on the streets and in our neighborhoods. His dedication to our senior citizens and making sure they receive the care they need and deserve has always been a top priority for Tom.

That's just the way Tom is... when he sees a problem, he does whatever he can to fix it!

As you can probably tell, I am so very proud of Tom. He stands by his convictions and doesn't bow down to the special interests, media pressures or because there is an easier path to take. I know that if you honor him with your vote, Tom's only special interest in Congress will be the people of Florida . He will always put us first.

There is one more important thing I can tell you about my husband. Tom Feeney is the most decent man I've ever known. In the 24 years that Tom and I have been married, he has been a loving, caring father, devoted husband and an honest, hardworking leader.

These years of public service have been a sacrifice our whole family has made. But, I can tell you that it has been worthwhile to see the changes Tom's made to improve the quality of life within our community.

May God bless you and yours.

Sincerely,

Ellen Feeney
